Creative Ideas for a Memorable Wedding
Wedding Ideas are Limitless
These creative ideas can be molded to fit all different types of people with all different types of expectations. From the basic church wedding to a couple's vows said in a hot air balloon, the ideas are only limited by your imagination.
Ideas for Traditional Church Weddings
Many churches provide some basic guidelines for wedding ceremonies. These need to be adhered to but do not need to limit the creativity of a wedding. One creative wedding idea to consider is having a guest or two participate in the ceremony. It may be nice to have a few older people speak for a few minutes on what makes a successful marriage, for example.
With church decorations in mind, renting plants adds to the beauty of a church and creates a nice environment for the wedding. Another idea for a church wedding is to pick a time period in history for a theme. For example, the 1920’s, which had very distinctive styles, would be a fun way for the wedding party to dress. It would be even more unique to request guests to dress in the same way.
How About A "Theme" Wedding?
Using themes can broaden the range of creative wedding ideas even more. A couple might choose to have a wedding at a southern mansion and dress in costumes from the pre-civil war era. Or perhaps a western theme would suit the couple. Having the groomsmen wear a bolo tie and cowboy hat would be a different and fun look. A tropical theme could be a great wedding idea for a summer wedding. Using colorful decorations of the pacific islands would enhance a wedding beautifully.
Holidays Can Give Us Even More Creative Wedding Ideas
If the wedding falls near a holiday, it would be nice to use that holiday as the theme of the wedding. Christmas, Valentines Day, Independence Day and maybe even Thanksgiving could give a couple many creative ideas for a wedding that would express their personalities and make their wedding a spectacular day to remember.
