Elegant Wedding
Decorations
Memories are made at weddings. Memories
of excitement and love shared with family and friends. It is a
stressful time but also a time of celebrating love and
commitment. The wedding decorations, carefully chosen, can make
any wedding even more memorable for the bride and groom as well
as everyone in attendance.
Using Color to Add Pizazz
Wedding decorations can add distinctive styles that make a
traditional wedding go from boring to spectacular. There are
many ways to decorate with flair; the first thing to consider
is the color theme. If the bride is going to wear white,
then the other members of the wedding party should wear
colors which will make the bride stand out. Contrasting
works well for this. Bright pinks, reds, and blues will always
make a nice backdrop for the beautiful bride in her white
gown.
Flowers Bring Natural Beauty to the
Wedding
Once the color has been chosen the next consideration is the
flowers. Choosing one particular flower in a single color is a
nice way for the flowers to be enhanced. Adding greenery,
candles, and ribbons will all add to the beauty of
the day.
Wedding Decorations Don't Have to Follow
Tradition
Sometimes the best way to achieve flair is to choose something
unique and flamboyant. A fun alternative to flowers would be
balloons. This may also reduce the cost of the
decorations considerably. Balloons can be used in much
the same way as flowers for wedding decorations. Balloons
can be helium filled and either used individually or made into
bouquets. Colorful wall and ceiling hangings such as
paper-mache birds or flowers would be a another unique way to
decorate. A different idea for a night wedding would be
to use lighting that looks like stars. If local laws
don’t forbid it, fireworks is yet another option
to add to the decor and celebration. Of course, this
would entail having the wedding outside.
Using Nature to Decorate a Wedding
An outdoor wedding will be decorated with natural beauty. A
romantic atmosphere can be created by simply choosing to have a
wedding in a park, rose garden, near a lake or on the beach.
The setting will not need anything more than some candles or
ribbons and bows to make the wedding decorations complete. This
approach will give you a wedding with elegance and flair on a
much smaller budget.
The most important point to keep in mind is that the bride and
groom must be the focus of the day. The wedding decorations
should enhance their day and create an aura of beauty that will
be remembered by all.
