Wedding Bouquets Will Enhance the
Beauty of the Dress
Bridal magazines give us a glimpse of
the most recent styles in wedding attire. They also show us how
beautiful bouquets can accent the wedding dress. The gorgeous
brides hold the wedding bouquets as they stand in magnificent
locations around the globe. The wedding bouquets come in many
different sizes, colors and arrangements. Some of them are
small with dainty flowers chosen especially for that specific
occasion. Other wedding bouquets are grand, ornate and flowing
with an overabundance of huge flowers. A wedding dress would
just not be the same without a beautiful bouquet.
Using Color and Texture to Contrast
Most often the dress is a shade of white and the bouquet is
in contrasting colors. Other times, though, the wedding bouquet
is pure white with an arrangement of delicate lilies, roses and
carnations. These lovely white flowers will make a startling
contrast in their texture. The smooth white satin of the
wedding dress will contrast beautifully with the petals of each
delicate flower. Bold designers will create startling contrasts
by adding a few red roses to the wedding bouquet. The
profoundly red color of these flowers makes a striking contrast
against the soft white dress. Soft pastel colors can also be a
very pretty contrast to the wedding dress.
Wedding Bouquets Are a Wedding
Tradition
Wedding Bouquets look spectacular as the beautiful bride
walks down the aisle to meet her new husband, but there is
another tradition that involves the wedding party and guests.
After the dinner and the reception are over everyone waits for
the tossing of the wedding bouquet. The single women will
gather at one end of the room and wait for this popular
tradition. The bride turns her back to the crowd as everyone
waits for her next move.
The bride flings the wedding bouquet over her head to the
girls behind her. Most of her friends will excitedly try to
snatch the bouquet as it flies through the air. Traditionally,
the bouquet now becomes a symbolic predictor of the next
bride-to-be. When a girl catches the bouquet the others will
offer congratulations. Even though there is no proof that this
is true, the one which catches it trusts in the power of the
bouquet.
